GAS TRACTION SPRINGS
A gas traction spring works the other way around to gas pressure springs and is a support that makes it much easier to close flaps and hoods.
These occur, for example, in wall beds and ensure that the bed can be put back into the closet without much effort.
Without the help of the gas tension springs it would hardly be possible to stow the bed back in the closet.
